Gloria Terrace to Table Top

The hike is 2 miles up and 2 miles back, with a total elevation gain of 1238 feet. It is the steepest shortest hike in Briones. You begin at the Gloria Terrace entrance along the Blue Oak Trail. At the one mile mark, Blue Oak bears off to the right, but you want to go straight and take a short cut to Spengler Trail known colloquially as the gully trail. You then turn left follow several switch backs up to where Spengler connects to Table Top trail, where you turn right and head up to Table Top to the top of the trail at the junction of Briones Crest Trail.
