Dive Jan 12 2002

Hank and I drove down to Monterey the morning of the dive, I think we had to leave like at 5:30 am. The first dive was a boat dive with the Alcosta Dive Club. I had no idea what to expect for the boats, they ended up being inflatible Zodiac's and it seemed to take forever to put them together, pump them up and get them in the water. Our first destination was to Eric's Pinnacle. The visibility was around 25 feet, Hank and I ended up in a threesome with another young guy from Berkeley, I can't recall his name. We ended up getting separated (of course it's Monterey) and had to surface. Since we were all pretty novice divers we suck air pretty fast (plus the other 2 divers were playing with their GPS, under water cameras and gadgets) we ended up coming up and sitting in the boat for a while waiting for Kevin and ????. I got a little sick sitting their in the boat waiting. Try getting into a boat with all your gear on and no one helping you!
