I hauled wood and built a big fire. I even split some of the cedar with rocks and had great kindling. The fire wasn't all that "big" so I took a couple of photos around the fire and went to bed. I was in my tent with my shoes and jacket off and ready to crawl into my bag when I noticed the fire had really gotten bigger. So I put my jacket and shoes back on and went and set up the tri-pod again. I set the timer for three photos and as the first one fired I threw in a big rock and this was the third frame. One of my favorites from the trip.

Sometimes the conditions are just perfect. The way the snow ridge is that day, the height of the sun behind you. The sky.... This was one of those times.
