A very short distnace you pass through a gate, and you can either go left on TableTop trail, or go right on Spengler. These two trails meet ahead again about 1 to 1.5 miles down the trail. TableTop will take you very close to Briones Peak and then lead sharply down to reconnect with Spengler. Turning right here, Spengler winds along the ridge to where it reconnects with Tabletop.
