For our fourth and final dive we made our way further up the coast of Anacapa and anchored at ???, which the Captain said was noted for its rock features, with 30 foot canyons. The dive was very cool, swimming up through the rocks and around the kelp forests. Coming over a small ridge to a low shallow sand channel there was a 6 foot bat ray hanging out on the bottom. I had never seen one up close and it just lay there till I gently touched it on its back and it slowly and gracefully swam away. It was a great way to end the day. We didn't stay out too long because we were tired (very few of the divers did all 4 dives) and we wanted to hit the hot tub.
